How do I record audio using the Rich Content Editor as a student?

The Rich Content Editor will be discontinued in a future release. Instructors can enable the New Rich Content Editor feature in course feature options.

You can use the Rich Content Editor to record audio. The Rich Content Editor is used in features that support the editor (Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, Pages, and Quizzes).


Note: HTML5 audio recording only applies to Chrome and Firefox. If you are using Internet Explorer or Safari, you must use Flash audio recording.
